My client, a well-known business based in Haddenham are currently recruiting for a permanent Credit Manager

Job Duties
Achieve PACCAR's Credit goals of minimization of credit losses and past dues
Accountable for order board credit quality to achieve Credit's risk mix goals, credit losses and past dues
Review, spread and analyse audited and compiled financial statements in order to recommend or approve credit proposals within delegated authority.
Complete in-depth written analysis of financial and non-financial data for use within credit application submissions to Country, European and Global levels.
Recommend or approve extended payment terms
Approve trucks for production prior to fixed scheduling
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve non-approved trucks for production
Restructure distressed accounts
Establishment of collateral and security
Recommend receivables for write-off and pursue bad debt collection
Recommend and approve dealer appointments / terminations and perform due diligence for new customers
Manage timely collection of quarterly dealer financial statements
Manage dealer-watch process to identify high risk accounts and enforce effective dealer watch action plans
Ensure accurate and timely Credit reporting
Face to face relationship building with internal and external stakeholders within the UK and Europe
The Desired candidate will have the following:
Degree educated
Multiple year's relevant experience in Credit, Finance and/or Control.
Qualified MCICM (Grad) preferred
CIMA / ACCA also considered
Experience in undertaking risk-based decision making
Knowledge of multiple financial reporting standards, including IFRS
Six Sigma experience or qualification an advantage
Strong Excel skills an advantage
