Due to the continuing expansion of our Aylesbury based client, they are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team on either a Part Time or Full Time basis.
* Full time (40hr working week): £23,000 – £32,000
* Part time (4hrs per day/20-25hr working week): £20,000 – £24,000
You will need be self-motivated, have strong communication skills and be a team player. In addition, a high degree of accuracy and numeracy will be required to manage complicated situations effectively
The Role:
* Handling company payments and receipts
* Daily bank reconciliations, credit control, payroll, cash forecasts
* Assisting the Accounts Controller and Finance Director with maintaining the accounting and financial records within a small administration office
* Helping to prepare management accounts
* Ad hoc accounting related tasks as and when might be required.
* Flexibility to take on other tasks when necessary, and provide holiday and sickness cover
* Full Time: Monday – Friday, 40hr working week
* Part Time: Monday – Friday, 20/25hr working week
Your Requirements:
* IT proficiency and experience with MS Excel, Outlook and Word
* Experience of accounting software and/or payroll functions (Sage and/or MS Navision would be advantageous)
* Minimum of 4 years accounts experience in all aspects of accounting, possibly part qualified AAT or similar accounting qualification
* A high degree of confidentiality, creative problem solving and good interpersonal skills
