Warehouse Operative (Engineering & Manufacturing)

Hourly Rate: £10-12/h

Key Benefits: Bonus paid monthly (circa £4,000/year) plus overtime

Location: Aston Clinton / Aylesbury

Warehouse Operative Overview

This is a great opportunity for two Warehouse Operatives to join a successful engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury. As they are seeking two operatives, they would ideally like one at a more junior level, and the other a slightly more senior level.

The Warehouse Operative will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the warehouse supervisor. You will be ensuring all goods are booked in and handled correctly in accordance with various procedures, to ensure product traceability.

You will occasionally be required to do some basic engineering assembly work, when the workload requires it. Occasional overtime will be on offer and additional pay will be provided.

Warehouse Operative Requirements

* Experience working in a warehouse type role, ideally within an engineering manufacturing environment

* Experience with both goods-in and dispatch

* Experience driving a forklift truck is advantageous

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records for all products dealt with

* Driven and reliable

* IT literate and able to use computer software systems
