This global, award-winning, tasty snacks and meals brand for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers company is sold in every major UK supermarket and worldwide in over 27 countries with two snacks now being enjoyed every second around the world. This company is now the fastest growing brand in the baby food market and is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to join the team.
You will support the supply chain function with day to day tasks in a fast moving, innovative, fun, office environment that maintains the highest levels of integrity. Have a flexible, open mindset, with a proactive, problem-solving focus.
Processing of sales orders into UK retailers and for International markets, to ensure stock gets to the right place on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily communication with retailers to ensure that all information on shortages, delays & order queries are resolved as a priority.
Communicating with 3PL on a daily basis to ensure stock is collected & delivered as expected, dealing with any problems that arise in a timely and effective manner.
Raising all required documentation for both UK & International markets, liaising with local authority offices & validating shipping information.
Managing the accurate import of traceability data in SAP, for both sales orders and purchase orders.
Maintain database of “Proof of Delivery” PODs. Chasing any documents that are missing to ensure records are as complete as possible.
Track & maintain packaging master sheet to give clear visibility of liability at supplier level.
Support the NPD process in regards to logistical information, pallet configuration and set up of new products in SAP & at 3PL.
Assisting with the data input and maintenance of the company purchase forecast. This including raising of Purchase orders.
Measuring & producing a set of Operational KPI’s, as well as communication of these to the wider business.
Recording and working to improve all service levels associated with our UK retail customers.
Support & Preparation for the Monthly S&OP meeting. Producing required reports around Inventory, Supplier performance & risk.
Flexible approach to support all areas of the business and participate in ad hoc projects.
Key Technical Skills:
Graduate level or experience within a Supply Chain/Logistic function.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and power point, and high level computer literacy across Outlook, Word, etc.
Experience in generating & manipulating data to produce graphical analysis.
Previous experience in working with SAP would be beneficial.
Knowledge or experience of working with International markets.
Sound understanding of International freight forwarding processes & documentation required.
Key Personal Skills:
Be pro-active and have a can-do attitude in order to do work on all Supply chain topics as part of a small team.
Attention to detail essential. Must be conscientious about accuracy when dealing with precise information (dates, stock lines, customers, suppliers, prices, volumes etc).
Able to form working relationships and develop a network inside and outside of the Company. Able to persuade (for example to accept stock, to make stock, prioritise stock picking and avoid fines).
Strong communicator, with the ability to handle complex information.
Able to organise themselves, develop new processes and work to real life stock related deadlines.
The ability to think differently, have fresh ideas, and bring a unique perspective in order to solve challenging and time sensitive problems as a part of a team.
