Job Description
Are you an experiencedManager or Supervisor, are you looking for a new challenge or maybe looking to move into a new sector. We are looking for an inspirational General Manager to join our Amersham TP branch and manage a team of three.
Our Amersham branch is fast paced, with an experienced team of 18 colleagues and 5 vehicles, so if you don't have our product knowledge don't worry, you will be in good hands. Our success is built on strong relationships with our colleagues, suppliers and customers so it's essential you build strong relationships quickly.
Hours – Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00am-12.00pm.

What experience do you need?
Previous experience within our sector is advantageous but it's not essential, we want your transferable skills, Inspirational Leadership, Exceptional Sales and Great Customer Service.
What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, and with your new found product knowledge and understanding of our business, here are a few pointers:
People management – including 121's, personal development,
Sales – Setting the sales strategy, team KPI's and daily targets.
You will be responsible for finding local business and developing new business from a list of dormant / low spending accounts and local sales leads.
You will be managing our Top 20 customers, so building relationships quickly is key in this role.
You'll be visiting customers and project sites.
Achieve sales and profit targets from your allocated existing customers that are currently dormant and for new business that you seek out
Always looking for opportunities to improve relationships to develop profitable sales.
