Encore Personnel are working in partnership with The Entertainer recruiting for order pickers and packers to join the team in Amersham

First intakes: 16th August 2021

Shifts available:
• AM – (06:00 – 14:00)
• PM – (14:00- 22:00)
• Nights – (22:00 – 06:00)
5 days work  promised
For the first 2 weeks of training you will receive a minimum of 3 days, if successful you will be given a Rota working any 5 days out of 6 Monday to Saturday on days, (Rota may change weekly)
In emergency shifts may be stood down however this is very unlikely

Pay rates:
Training weeks (Weeks 1 and2) £8.91 per hour
Weeks 2 to 12 – £9.10 per hour with overtime on the 6th day paid at x1.5
Weeks 13+ – Same as above accruing extra holiday entitlement of 30 days total

Key responsibilities:
Picking – Efficiently assemble loads without error using the pick lists/equipment provided.
Loading – Ensure that all loads agree with transport paperwork and are loaded to time, stacked in the correct sequence and are configured and restrained correctly.
Use of hand-held scanners
Stock control
Packing items ready for distribution
 Ensure that all site-specific rules and operating practice are adhered to at all times.

Conduct:
Maintain good time keeping.
Maintain a good standard of housekeeping
Accept the occasional irregularity of hours to achieve completion of important tasks.
Demonstrate flexibility and co-operation in covering duties of a related nature not specifically referred to in the description that may enhance the service provided to the customer.

Experience is preferred but full training given so not absolutely necessary.
