I am currently looking for a Logistics manager to join my client – a company based in Amersham. You will be required to have experience in logistics management or leading operations and preferably in a retail environment (not compulsory)
What will you be doing?
As a logistics manager;
Effective liaison with the online team to ensure commercial plans are understood and appropriate fulfilment capacity is in place
Produce, monitor and delivery financial budgets and forecasts for the fulfilment operation
Delivery of operational KPIS relating to fulfilment availability, stock accuracy and productivity
Delivery of service KPIs relating to customer fulfilment lead time and packing quality
Ensure regular reporting of performance KPIs
Develop and lead a right first-time mindset within the fulfilment team
Ensure a fully engaged team meeting people related targets
Positive relationships developed and maintained with key stake holders: online team, Banbury operation, couriers, and labour agencies.
Key Skills:
Experience in e-commerce operations – either in-house or 3PL, ideally with direct operational accountability
Experience of retail environment ideally with significant seasonal variability
Experience of, and enjoy leading operational teams
