My client is an independent Medical Education agency, they have been in the market for over 20 years.
They have been growing ever since and they now need people in all core areas of their business!
Most recently they have launched a new approach to training and development within the company: each of their team now has a career plan with a five-year horizon and an invested two-year development plan.
This is a big and exciting development for them, and one which will help their team develop long-term careers rather than just thinking one role ahead.
Looking for a Senior Programme Manager: this role will suit an Account Manager or Project Manager from another agency, preferably MedEd or a similar role within the industry.
This is very much the engine room of their operation and their SPM role differs from the traditional AM role in that it requires, and therefore teaches, much more about how they develop content for meetings.
They are developing a writing team also, so their PMs don't really do much writing, but they do like them to have perhaps a better understanding of the content than AMs might.
As such this role may suit an AM, who wants to become more involved in the overall delivery of programmes. They are particularly keen to see Senior Programme Managers who are at a stage in their career where they can work pretty independently of their Programme Director, and may also be ready to take a programme executive under their wing in a mentoring type role.
Some of the responsibilities involve but are not limited to:
Lead delivery of projects
Provide valuable input to programmes based on the med ed strategy
Accurately estimate and reconcile project invoicing
Lead work getting done through others
Plan and manage client liaison
Conduct more difficult/challenging KOL briefings
I will be more than happy to arrange a call and tell you all the details about this position and more. You can reach me by phone or by email: (phone number removed) (ext.3508) or
