Senior Engineering Projects Manager

Looking for a Senior Engineering Projects Manager with a minimum of 8 years' experience in positions of responsibility that require creativity and conception thinking.

They will come from a manufacturing background preferably and be able to take full responsibility for quality, delivery of the technical solution and be able to manage people, resources and stakeholder relationships.

You must be ready to lead strategic, high profile and high-risk projects up to £10M.

Engineering degree in one of the following: Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical/Controls & Automation, or engineering HND
8 years or more senior engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Senior experience as a Project Manager
Know how to ensure manufacturing projects and construction environments are safe
Clear, precise spoken and written communication
Able to think conceptually (this will be tested at interview)
Able to manage stakeholders
Calm in a crisis, diplomatic, discreet, maintains strict client confidentiality

Experience & Qualifications required:

An excellent degree in one of the following engineering disciplines:
Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical/Controls & Automation
Chartership preferable
Good quality experience in a manufacturing environment essential
Food, pharma or healthcare manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge & experience of Health & Safety requirements in manufacturing and construction

Preferred

Chartered Engineer
Multi skilled mechanical & electrical
Significant food, pharma or healthcare manufacturing experience
Qualification from the Association of Project Managers or Prince2
Experience of CDM site management
