A fantastic Residential Care Home in Amersham is currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join a dedication team of Carers and Seniors. The home is a part of a small, independent care company with 3 homes and a strong reputation in the industry.

About the home and role:

This is an attractive 25 bedded residential care home specialising in elderly care. Person-centred care is at the very heart of the company's values and they also value and support their staff. The home comes complete with multiple large communal areas and residents live active and sociable lives in a safe and supportive environment. There is free on-site parking and the home is also only a short walk from Amersham train station.

This is a full time, permanent Senior Care Assistant role on Nights.

36 hours per week

Shifts are 8pm-8am

£9.75 per hour

Senior Care Assistant Duties:

To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents

To provide leadership and support to the care staff

Update care plans

Responsible for the administration of medication

Maintain residents dignity and independence at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience within a nursing/residential home

Previous experience as a Senior HCA or Care Team Leader

NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care

Medication trained
