Ashley Kate are delighted to be partnering with a leading, Global Pharmaceutical company who are looking to appoint a Learning & Development Partner to support the business as it continues its ambitious growth plans.
The company Head Office is based Amersham but will be 90% remote working. The salary is up to £60k.
This role will focus on embedding a performance culture through Engagement, Performance Management, Succession planning, and learning and development to help the leadership team to drive sustainable business growth through our people and resources.
You will assess the current and future skills requirements and create flexible learning interventions to meet the diverse needs of the workforce.
You will be involved in identifying high performing individuals at all levels and make sure proactive plans are in place to support their career development. As well as supporting behavioural and cultural change, you will help the business to maximise the capability of people and identify opportunities to increase engagement. In line with this you will be responsible for the design or source the delivery of appropriate training for best practice and performance across all levels of the business.
Key Activities
·Designs and implements development programs and Academies that align to the goals and training needs.
·Partners with HoDs and People Business Partners to identify new development needs and create solutions accordingly.
·Consults with subject matter experts to publish and maintain course content and training curriculum.
·Tracks employee development to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement.
·Produce reports for learning interventions and learning management information as required.
·Implement and reports on the effectiveness of leadership development.
·Proposes changes to organisational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization.
·Coordinate and administrate all activities relating to internal training programs/academies.
·Increase the usage and adoption of learning management systems and tools by developing interesting and relevant content and job aids.
You will be an experienced professional with a passion for L&D and you will be working with key stakeholders in order to deliver effective business solutions. You will need to embed a strong performance culture and deliver best practice frameworks for ongoing performance reviews linked to the business objectives.
Learning & Development Partner- About you.
·A proven background in creating/managing an L&D function is essential.
·Experience of embedding a performance management culture
·A good understanding of succession and talent mapping and employee engagement.
·Commercially aware with a proven track record of good project management
·Experience of delivering employee development training, coaching and mentoring
·Have a proven track record of advising and supporting senior stakeholders within area of responsibility
·Demonstrate a proactive and forward-thinking attitude with the ability to spot future challenges and take appropriate action.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence to influence decisions
