Job title: Sr. CDP/Jr. Sous/Sous Chef

Salary: Up to 27,000 GBP

Workplace description: This hotel dates from the Tudor period, offers a relaxed lounge bar which features a log fire, while the original part of the building has executive rooms with large desks, broadband access and flat-screen TV. The hotel is in the heart of Old Amersham, known for its exclusive boutiques and antiques shops. Food and drink is served in the bar & bistro, which is located in the same building as the hotel.

Main duties and responsibilities: You will report to the Head Chef and your duties will include prep and cooking along with ordering and maintaining stock, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times.

Essential criteria: You will have a passion for the industry and attention to detail. You must also have an excellent attitude and the willingness to learn and be looking to develop your career. You will have previous experience in a hotel environment, with a focus on banquets and have good team spirit.

Accommodation provided: Yes (off site)

Charge for accommodation: 115.00 GBP per week
