Service Support Engineer required for my client based near to Amersham.

The successful service engineer will support the design / engineering department within mechanical and electrical build, software installation and testing of company products.

They will also carry out the testing and commissioning of company products.

Service Support Engineer Position Overview

To carry out both on site and off site build, IT install, testing and commissioning of company products.
Loading and testing of software.
Off-site installation, maintenance, repair and field modifications on designated equipment.
Troubleshooting any issues, finding workable solutions and implementing these as and when required.
Administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records. External installation planning and method statements.
Writing detailed technical reports.
Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
Training others to use equipment.

Service Support Engineer Position Requirements

Experience of diagnosing and repairing electromechanical equipment.
IT skills with a more than basic understanding of software installs and commissioning.
Experience of troubleshooting, decision-making, problem resolution and have creative thinking.
Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Be able to work to drawings and build instructions.
Commutable distance of Amersham.
Full UK Driving License.

Service Support Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary – £30,000 to £35,000 – dependent upon experience
Full time position
28 days holiday including bank holidays
