Electro / Mechanical Assembler required for my client based near to Amersham.

The role requires the successful candidate to carry out the electromechanical assembly of company products whilst maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Assist the storeman with stores and packing duties as and when required also.

Electro / Mechanical Assembler Position Overview

Read and interpret instructions and drawings.
Carry out electromechanical assembly of product as specified by the Job Card and instructions in a timely manner to meet manufacturing schedules.
Label / mark identifying information on product
Adjust and modify parts to fit if necessary
Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections
Position and fasten units to assemblies and subassemblies
Fasten cables and wiring
Solder electrical components
Test for mechanical reliability
Ensuring that Production Control are informed of any issues that may need addressing.
Maintain a safe working environment within the Workshop areas and that all current Health and Safety legislation is observed. Including basic "house-keeping".
Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.

Electro / Mechanical Assembler Position Requirements

Some previous Electro Mechanical Assembly experience
IT skills (to be able to use company business system with initial training)
Soldering / Wiring experience
Good team worker
Excellent interpersonal skills
Counterbalance Forklift License (preferable)
Commutable distance from Amersham
Full UK Driving License

Electro / Mechanical Assembler Position Remuneration

Salary – £18,000 to £25,000
Full Time Position – 37.5 hours
28 days holiday including bank holidays
