The company specialises in providing consultancy services and support for an IBM Maximo EAM software product, implementing business critical EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) solutions across a range of industries such as oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, utilities, facilities management, transport, and power generation.
The role of Project Manager is a key appointment in the expansion of the business and will be based at the Head Office in Buckinghamshire with travel to other UK offices and overseas as and when required.
Key responsibilities include;
* Project Management and Delivery of large customer facing projects and for the operational relationship with those customers
* To act as a People Manager to support the development of assigned consulting team members to ensure that the business has the necessary professional services skills and capability to deliver against the defined objectives
* Operation of project delivery processes to ensure that quality, technical and commercial targets, whilst ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded
* Effective contribution to the resource planning process to meet both project deliverables and ensure the necessary levels of utilisation are achieved
* Timely and effective reporting and commercial management of projects to support the achievement of corporate project profitability targets
* Contribute to the financial timetable of the company in a timely and accurate manner.
Suitable candidates will have the following profile;
* Demonstrable project management experience within a technology and professional services context
* Strong commercial perspective and business awareness
* Effective communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to influence peers and exec-level staff
* Established people management skills
* Be organised, numerate, methodical, persuasive, diplomatic, proactive and able to take initiative
* Able to multi task and prioritise work
* Respond well to pressure
* Ability to verbally explain complex issues in clear, plain English
* Ability to work flexibly to meet customer requirements
* Good intellectual, numerate and analytical ability with the ability to resolve issues and move obstacles to progress aside
* Demonstrate good networking skills and be able to establish strong personal relationships
* Experience of reporting and presenting results to senior management.
