Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity to join the UK's leading Residential Glazing Company as a Project Surveyor, based at our Amersham head office. Reporting to the Projects Director you will be managing the delivery of the projects from the point of sale through to completion, liaising closely with our clients, architects, and contractors to deliver a high quality project within the set timescales and budget.

Key responsibilities

* Managing the project financial cost budget to achieve and improve the project margins, utilising our financial reporting system.

* Liaise with the Design Team to achieve a speedy process from design intent through to client approval.

* Work closely with the Purchasing Team to procure the project materials for each project and manage the delivery through to site.

* Procure the labour teams for the installation, plan the logistics for the product and plant deliveries, and liaise with the Site Supervisors to achieve a quality installation.

* Ensure that the communication with the client is clear, concise, and regular to maintain a strong relationship throughout the project and to build repeat business relationships with the project team.

* Daily administration of the correspondence using the company CRM software and reporting system.

* Attend occasional site meetings with the client’s team, and to check the quality of installation with the Site Supervisor.

* Operate within the company's Health and Safety Policy.

Knowledge and Skills level requirements:

* You must be a very good communicator and have efficient administration skills.

* Be able to clearly liaise with other internal departments and external suppliers to manage the project through the construction process to final completion.

* You must have experience of working with Excel, Word, Sharepoint, and Outlook. Training will be provided for the in-house CRM systems.

* Quantity surveyor training in conjunction with onsite experience or on a work experience day release basis may be an advantage.
