Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a new opportunity in the Amersham Area?

This position is working on the prestigious HS2 Project.

Location: Amersham

Role Responsibilities:

Working on HS2 Heavy Plant.
Perform planned and preventative maintenance and diagnosis of breakdowns on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts, drillers, borers and diesel powered earth moving equipment.
Perform reactive repairs on plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts, drillers, borers and diesel powered earth moving equipment.
Adhere to working instructions as specified internally from engineers, project manager and supervisors whilst ensuring to follow all Health & Safety requirements.
Provide paperwork, equipment inspection sheets, and timesheets on a weekly basis for approval.
You will also maintain small plant and tools.The successful candidate:

Previous experience working on heavy plant and vehicles including cranes, rigs, forklifts, drillers, borers and diesel powered earth moving equipment.
Experience working on a live construction site is essential.
Hold an NVQ3/BTEC in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
The ability to read Hydraulic and Mechanical drawings
Experience working on foundation/piling equipment would be a distinct advantage
