An exciting opportunity to join the UK's leading Residential Glazing Company as a Financial Budget Controller, based at our Amersham head office.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for monitoring the financial reporting of each project and assisting with the preparation of monthly financial information packs for the board of Directors.
Key responsibilities:
* You will be working within our current Finance Team and will be liaising closely with the Project Management Team to oversee and manage the individual project financial cost budgets to achieve and improve the project margins, utilising our financial reporting systems.
* Overseeing the setup and running of the monthly accrual reconciliations for all our projects.
* Working closely with the Finance Director to prepare the monthly Project Cost-Value Reconciliation and Accrual reports.
* Periodic administration of the Projects CVR figures to ensure accuracy and validity throughout.
* Creating and developing the monthly reporting procedures to help streamline and improve the processes.
* General Adhoc duties as required within the accounts department.
Knowledge and Skills level requirements:
* You must be a very good communicator and have efficient administration skills.
* Be financially accurate with the preparation of the reporting data.
* Have experience working with SAGE 200 and be able to demonstrate the skills that will make you successful in this role.
* You will be required to investigate the current systems and provide suggestions for improvement.
* Be able to clearly liaise with other internal departments.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Self-starter attitude essential.
* Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
* Full system training will be provided.
Location: Amersham, office based Salary: Competitive DOE Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time 8.00 – 5.00
