We also supply and fit night-latches which are commonly used on wooden doors. Some of these type of doors come with a deadlock fitted too. This strengthens and helps add additional security to the door. We would always recommend that you have a British Standard night-latch with a 5-lever British Standard deadlock fitted.

Another type of lock wooden doors have is called a sash-lock. This type of lock is a deadbolt with a retractable latch which is operated with the key and handle. We would also advise that you have a British Standard 5-lever sash-lock fitted. Mortice locks we supply and install adhere to British Standards (BS 3621:2007).
