A niche cyber security business is looking for a full-time Information Assurance Consultant to help its customers remain secure!

The Information Assurance Consultant role is to ensure security tools and measurements are in place for clients to remain compliant in their activities. Ideal for holders of the 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer certificate. You will be responsible for establishing compliance by talking to clients, examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation, performing gap analysis and implementation advice for clients.

Almost ALL of this 27001 Lead Auditor Compliance Consultant role can be done REMOTELY. There may be a small travel expectation if / when the working world recovers from Covid, but we envisage a progressive attitude to remote work staying in place. This is a friendly organisation that caters to its most valuable asset, it's PEOPLE!

You'll be required to understand and help feedback via reports and calls, as well as motion any issues accordingly adhering to ISO27001. Perhaps you've used compliance tools to achieve this in an internal role or maybe you're a security or data protection officer looking for a new challenge.

Suitable 27001 Lead Auditor Compliance Consultant candidates should demonstrate the following:

At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
Experience of influencing stakeholders across departments and translating complex technical requirements
Sound knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard and requirements
ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer certificationDesirable attributes include:

Experience of providing external consultancy, influencing stakeholders across departments and translating complex technical requirements
Knowledge of IT systems and network security
Project management skills
An excellent communicator and multi-tasker with exceptional organisational, written and verbal communication abilities
