Software Engineer PLC / SCADA – Siemens TIA – Milton Keynes – Permanent – System Integrator – £40-50k + overtime + site uplift

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer ( PLC / SCADA ) to join a key client in the Milton Keynes area.

The company is looking for the successful Software Engineer to have Siemens TIA Portal experience. Applicants for the Software Engineer opportunity will need full project life cycle experience and ideally have run their own medium to large sized projects.

Opportunity will suit someone keen to work in a wide variety of industries, often autonomously in a flexible working environment.

Key aspects to the Software Engineer opportunity include –

* Responsibility for functional design, detail engineering, design & test specifications for computer based PLC / SCADA system solutions & software applications (Siemens TIA Portal)

* Client liaison and interpreting clients' requirements to provide engineering and proposals support where necessary.

* Work coming up in a range of sectors including but not limited to Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Chemical and Pharmaceutical

* Estimate of 70/30 split between the office and being on site, Work from home option available when it suits the demands of the project

* Site acceptance testing, commissioning, training & support services.

* Ensure all relevant safety objectives and regulatory requirements are observed for Control & LV Electrical Panels and Cabling.

* Adherence to agreed project task definitions and schedule.
