Our client is a leading UK Public Sector organisation. Their Procurement team has responsibility for national projects with significant media attention and is considered one of the most commercial in their sector. They are looking to recruit an Interim Procurement professional to join their growing Commercial Procurement team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Procurement Consultant with Public Sector experience to join a team they can contribute to immediately and grow with.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Experienced with Public Sector Procurement
Demonstrable track record of independently leading PCR2015 compliant tenders
MUST have CIPS qualification of some form
Experienced working across HR/Professional/Corporate Services categories of spend
Confident negotiating contract clauses and managing supplier performance
Strong numerical, excel, Financial Management and budgeting skills
Strong communication skills
