Job title: Senior Associate Town Planner

Location: Amersham

An amazing opportunity has opened for a Senior Associate Town Planner to join an independent practice with an excellent reputation to join the office based in Buckinghamshire. My client has offices across the UK where they mainly work from the London region down to the south.

My client works on a wide range of projects from residential, commercial, leisure, energy, heritage and more, these projects range from small to complex projects right through to large high profile developments.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake business development within their role and mentoring junior staff. In terms of planning work that you will be carrying out it will be the following:-

Preparing written fee proposals for clients following practice templates and guidelines
Undertaking planning history and policy research independently and accurately
Undertaking site visits and preparing written and visual record independently and accurately
Preparing written site appraisals for clients to provide clear record of findings and advice
Providing written and verbal planning advice to clients to provide clear recommendations
Preparing, submitting, and proactively managing pre-application advice requests and applications including planning, enforcement, listed building consent, certificate of lawfulness and prior approvalsWe are looking to speak to candidates of all background from LPA, Private Sector and Client side. You must be a chartered member of the RTPI and be at an Associate Director level already. This role would be suited to someone who is looking for career progression.
