Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Concrete Reinforcement & Formwork Systems
Industry Sector: Concrete Reinforcement, Concrete Cavity Wall, Precast Concrete, Concrete Joints, Formwork & Falsework, Groundworkers, Concrete Groundworks, Main Contractors, Teir 1 Contractors, Ground Engineering, Civil Engineering Contractors, Concrete Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Propping Systems, Anchor Piles, Framework Contractors
Area to be covered: South, East Anglia & Midlands (90% in the South East & London)
Remuneration: £50,000neg (depending on experience) + potential annual bonus
Benefits: Mercedes, Audi or BMW OR £580 car allowance and full benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Concrete Reinforcement & Formwork Systems will involve:
* Technical field sales position responsible for hire and sales of high quality concrete reinforcement, concrete joints, cavity walls, precast concrete base slabs, concrete accessories and formwork systems
* All of you time selling into tier 1 contractors, groundwork contactors, specialist sub-contractors, concrete framework contactors and civil engineers
* Tier 1’s include: Kier, Laing O’Rourke, Skanska, Bam Nuttall, Ground Construction Ltd, Munnings etc
* Dealing with projects ranging from small hire sales for £100k up to large bespoke projects of circa £1m
* 50% of your time will be spent generating new business relationships
* The remaining 50% of your time will be spent managing and expanding existing relationships with key accounts
* Working alongside a Senior Sales Manager and great internal sales team
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Concrete Reinforcement & Formwork Systems with:
* Must have a demonstrable track record in sales of concrete reinforcement, concrete joints, cavity walls, precast concrete base slabs, concrete accessories and formwork systems
* OR from a strong structural engineering background working with products such as: ground shoring, ground engineering, edge protection, trench support, frame support systems, concrete consumables or related products
* Must have experience working with tier 1 contractors, sub-contractors, main contractors, concrete framework contractors, groundwork contractors and civil engineering contractors such as: Kier, Laing O’Rourke, Skanska, Bam Nuttall, Ground Construction Ltd, Munnings etc
* Ideally have contact within the formwork market
* Capable of managing and expanding existing relationships and generating new business relationships
* Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
* Tenacious, professional and comfortable working within a competitive environment
