Our client, well-known in the business community within Buckinghamshire, are recruiting for a Part Time Skills Advisor to work closely with and engage with businesses to better understand their recruitment, training and skills needs.
The role will involve apprenticeships, work placements, adult re-training, redundancy support, recruitment and skills needs analysis.
18.5 hours per week (ideally Tuesday and Wednesday full days and half day Friday, but flexible).
This role is a fixed term contract until 23 December 2022.
ROLE:
Identify work force development needs, recruitment and training needs, as well as seeking opportunities for work placement and apprenticeships.
Seeking out opportunities for work placements.
Provide specialist advice to colleagues, learners and stakeholders.
Build good working relationships with stakeholders.
Provide regular reports on the employability programmes and projects.
Attend relevant events and networking opportunities to promote the projects and programmes being offered.
Provide presentations at events and workshops.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience of working in the education, skills or training sectors
Educated to Degree level
Hold a Level 4 professional qualification in training, development or related area
Experience of working with and engaging employers in an advisory capacity
Excellent negotiation skills
Good working knowledge of Ms Office
Remote Working (Must be able to drive, have access to a Car and be willing to attend regular meetings in Bucks)
