An established Bucks based accountancy practice is recruiting either an AAT qualified or experienced bookkeeper to join the firm’s bookkeeping and VAT team and small accounts team.
You must have at least 2 years practice experience, be proactive and able to manage your time well. You must have a desire to learn and develop your role with a positive and happy attitude.
You should ideally have a strong working knowledge or skills in the following areas:
* Bookkeeping and the use of accounting software (Xero and DEXT Preferred)
* VAT Return preparation (incl. the various VAT accounting methods)
* CIS returns
* Good use of Excel and Word
* Preparation of management accounts, forecasting & budgeting
* Preparation to TB and final accounts
Your job may involve travelling to clients, so a driving license and car are essential.
Some training will be provided but you will be expected to be able to have a strong background as your role will also involve teaching clients how to use software.
Excellent IT and communication skills both verbal and written are a must, along with the ability to multi task in a professional and friendly environment
