Background:
Our client is part of a group of companies that have a specific focus within the building & construction products/materials industry where they have forged a fantastic reputation for themselves in the market. They are now looking for an Aftersales Engineer to install, repair and service a range of roof windows to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Weekly pre-planned travelling in and around the Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes, Northampton area fitting, repairing and servicing a range of roof windows and ancillary products.
Perform tasks on daily job list; being punctual and professional to builders and home owners on every visit.
Complete job sheets for every visit made.
Send pictures of completed job sheets, and any other evidence or documentation, to hold on the database in the most concise way possible.
Ensure all paperwork is competed in full and on time, and is returned to the office in line with Company policies and procedures.
Ensure that the recommended stock / items are held at all times.
Advise of possible stock shortages.
Treat customer property and premises with the upmost respect, paying particular attention to health and safety, careful use of material, equipment, ladder, etc.
Keep abreast of current changes to the company product range and services.
Instil and maintain a customer service culture where the customer always comes first. This includes customer service culture for our internal and external customers.
Requirements to be successful;
Willing to travel & overnight stays
Valid UK Driving Licence (clean)
Excellent customer service
Service in and around the Cambridge area
