Logical Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a large industrical and engineering company for the following: –

Electrical Fitter

to join the project team in Aylesbury involved in the construction, operation and maintenance of a conveyor system. The ideal candidate will live within a 30-mile radius of Aylesbury area.

The Electrical Fitter role exists to ensure safe examination, testing, installation and maintenance of electrical plant and equipment in accordance with our “Permit for Work” System, LMI instructions and IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: –

* Carry out fault finding procedures and repairs for the safe running and optimum performance of plant and apparatus.

* Provide full flexibility to carry out operational duties

* Observation of plant operations to identify and address faults

* Undertake training as and when required to allow for full flexibility

* Ensure all H&S measures are in place and completed, such as hazard reports and SBSU conversations

* Installation of Electrical Apparatus

* Examination, Testing and Maintenance of electrical plant and machinery

* P.A.T. testing of portable appliances

* Carry out Planned Maintenance as per Station Schedules

* Operate Fork Lift Truck in accordance with training may be a requirement

* Operate Station Vehicles in accordance with Station Safety Requirements

* Complete any other reasonable tasks or requests as required, in order to meet KPIs.

* A Strong team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative

* Good communication skills, both with colleagues, other contractors and clients

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines safely

* Positive attitude to safety

* Tolerant of diverse working situations and conditions

* CPCS safety passport or equivalent

* Uniper safety rules competent person training

* Served Apprenticeship

* Electrical Qualification

* Competent person within Uniper safety rules

* Knowledge of Plant

* P.A.T. Testing training

* PLC knowledge
