Junior Marketing Analyst

£23,000 – £28,000 per annum (DOE)
Grafton Recruitment are recruiting for a market leading logistics company to source a Junior Marketing Analyst to help the Insight & Planning Team with cross-functional support.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in the usage of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as having a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for Insight and Data.

THE ROLE:
Some of your responsibilities as a Junior Marketing Analyst are listed below:
Interpretation of targeting briefs to deliver the best solution to fulfil client objectives
Develop a working knowledge of data sources and strategies to solve customer targeting objectives
Using GIS (Geographical Information System) software, create rankings, profiles, and maps.
Provide analysis and insight to add value and inform action based on the campaign performance reports that are published on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly) for internal and external audiences.
Conduct analysis on campaign performance showing trends, analysis, learnings and actionable recommendations
Produce overall market insight reports and support sales & client services with new client pitches
Prepare optimised media activity plans
Work with Client Services and the Royal Mail team to quickly handle bookings
Present media bookings with expected key metrics (such as cost per response and response rates) as needed
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Junior Marketing Analyst:
Strong evaluative and analytical abilities – capable of analysing and interpreting data, comparing and contrasting outcomes, spotting trends, drawing conclusions, thinking creatively, and making appropriate recommendations.
Correctness and attention to detail when generating documents and reports – able to turn work around fast while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Time management and organisation abilities – the capacity to prioritise workloads and handle many tasks and projects successfully to fulfil deadlines.
Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate complicated information to internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Proactive problem resolution – sees potential issues and obstacles, prepares well-thought-out action plans, and takes responsibility for delivering as needed.
Strong business administration abilities to guarantee that records, client scheduling, systems, and tools are kept up to date and accurate.
IT literate – capable of using MS Office, including intermediate MS PowerPoint and Excel skills for data analysis and graphical presentation (pivot tables, graphs, etc.).
Degree or equivalent in a similar discipline (e.g. Business, Maths, Economics, Marketing, or Media/Communications) – desirable but not essential
Experience in the media, advertising, or marketing industry
