We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a successful national main contractor. Our client are building their commercial team to work on large high value civils projects.
These projects include demolition, remediation, earthworks, large plots, roads, drainage, 278 works, embankments, bridging, highway works etc.
Hybrid working that is flexible.
 
Responsibilities:

Tendering sub-contract work packages and ensuring new sub-contractors are set up on the system
Completing sub-contract comparisons
Assisting the operational team in managing contract requirements
Making accurate applications for payment and ensuring payments are received on time
Management of cost reviews
Identify and evaluate Client Variations and Additions
Undertaking monthly financial reviews
Collating information and producing reports for senior commercial team
Form strong relationships with supply chain team
Preparation of cost and value reconciliations
Production of accurate forecasts of change
Working closely with Senior Quantity SurveyorRequirements

Previous experience working for a Contractor within Civils
Degree in Quantity Surveying
Knowledge of various contracts including NEC
A good work ethic and the desire to progressRemuneration
This role offers a negotiable basic salary with a competitive benefits package to include car allowance, annual bonus of 15%, pension and other work related benefits.
