About the role:
We are recruiting an Operational Support Team Leader to provide day to day operational management to our Responsive Maintenance and IRT administration teams, assisting the Operational Support Manager to deliver a service that meets customer’s needs, is productive and good value for money.
Key responsibilities include:

The effective control of administration services which includes IRT works planning, responsive repairs, voids, planned works, adaptations and associated finance.

Empower and develop the teams to ensure that all repair appointments and larger works projects are allocated to appropriate Operatives, considering priority, material/plant requirements, location and existing workloads.
*
You’ll manage the IRT Dynamic Scheduling System to ensure all scheduled appointments and works are tracked through to completion.
*
Take responsibility for the management, maintenance and use of the dynamic scheduling system, (DRS, previously known as Opti-Time) and its integration with other repair and maintenance management systems and processes.

Investigate and action any adverse feedback from tenants’ satisfaction surveys. Responding to any complaints from customers in accordance with procedures.
What we’re looking for:
*
Experience in a similar role managing, developing and empowering a team.
*
Experience of working within a customer facing environment.
*
Experience of working within the maintenance/construction industry to undertake the repairs and maintenance of a large housing stock is advantageous.
*
Experience of designing, reviewing and managing processes.
*
Ability to maintain clear, concise records and to give clear instructions by telephone and in person.
*
Excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to process data quickly and accurately.
*
Competent IT user with the ability to work with specialised or bespoke systems.
*
Strong negotiation skills, allowing you to liaise effectively with tenants, staff and contractors.
