The Payments Scheme Certification Manager will play a vital role in managing the Regulatory Certification Compliance and Audit activity across the Payments Centre of Excellence. The role will be responsible for highlighting and minimise risks within Scheme Certification and Audit activities and maintaining effective internal control systems.

Managing key business relationships to obtain information to, plan and execute certifications and audits
Working with stakeholders of all levels across the bank, including audit and senior management to achieve shared objectives and common goals
Supporting the delivery of the business plan for the Payments CoE Certification and Audit area
Maintaining knowledge of regulatory requirements, organisational changes, certification and audit methodology and other relevant aspects that affect the Payments Audit plan, approach, and business areas
What you will bring.
An understanding of core payments schemes, with experience of working on large scale bank wide projects
A structured working approach and a methodical thinker, with the ability to effectively work with and influence stakeholders of all levels
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience of working within in audit or risk-based role
The ability to interpret and translate complex information in a suitable and effective format for a variety of relevant audiences
A detailed knowledge of payments regulations, payments certification and audit principles and their application in core processes
What else you need to know.
Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
This is a full time permanent position, which can be based Nationally.
