We are currently recruiting for Trainee Polling Engineers for Europe's number 1 Network Service Provider on the back of an ever-increasing workload and the desire to increase man power.  

As the  Trainee Poling Engineer you will be working in 2 person crews in and around a 30 mile radius of Aylesbury after 12 weeks of training at our clients facility's in Slough

You will be responsible for building and maintaining the Openreach Network, documenting, checking and maintaining all completed works.
Salary : £28000 (rising to £35000 after training has been completed)
Hours : 42.5 hour weeks 
Holiday : 21 days annual leave and 8 bank holiday 
Training : Always offering training and chances for progression 

Responsibilities: (after training is completed)

Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles
Replacing/renewing existing drop-wires
Replacing/renewing overhead and UG joints in the Openreach fibre and copper network
Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements
Undertaking works in accordance with Health and Safety legislation, company and client Health and Safety standardsKnowledge; Experience and Skills:

Comfortable working at heights 
Groundworks or landscaping experience desirable 
Ipaf desirable 
Hard working and reliable
