Our client, a global Engineering leader,are seeking a mobile shift-based Engineer to join their Engineering Team to work on planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repair of specialist printing equipment.

Duties also include;

* Assistance in installation and commissioning of new equipment

* Fault finding and root cause analysis

* Ensuring adherence to manufacturer's specifications and other regulatory bodies

Skills

* Electrical/Mechanical qualification, Apprenticeship.

* Experience carrying out fault finding on electrical circuits (inc. single phase HV kit)

* Mechanical maintenance experience essential (motors, gears, encoders, bearings, clutches, etc.)

* Control systems knowledge and understanding very useful

* Previous experience of PLCs advantageous

* Experience in Datcard products (Media importers & scanners) and printer equipment would prove very useful

You will be required to work on rotating early – late shifts. The site operates on a 2-shift Monday to Friday basis. Weekend flexibility (rotating Saturday morning shift). A requirement to work night shift (when required) will also form part of the role.

The position will initially be based in Milton Keynes , moving to a field service role after training.
