Data Engineer

Bourne End, Buckinghamshire (hybrid options available)

Permanent – Full Time

Up to £35,000 + Package

The successful candidate will be a critical member of the Data Team and take lead on expanding the ecosystem of internal MySQL databases built in Django.

The Data Engineer will have demonstrable experience creating Django websites, as well as general strong Python skills.

Key responsibilities

* Maintain and actively enhance our suite of internal databases and their Django front end

* Conceive new Django products based on a thorough understanding of business needs; draft schemas to communicate architecture team-wide

* Work closely with colleagues both within the Data Team and outside, as required

* Help monitor data to ensure data is timely and accurate; help devise new techniques for this

* Automate processes as required

* Ensure ISO 27001 training is attended and all mandatory documents have been read to ensure working practices comply
