PHP Developer, LAMP, WordPress, JavaScript, 100% remote

This is an exciting time for a junior-to-mid-level PHP Developer to join an internationally trusted source of medical news and education to the healthcare professional community, as they embark on a period of technical growth and transformation

The Role

Providing readily accessible content via a range of subject-specific websites and digital platforms, development to-date has been carried out via a third party partner.  With ambitious growth plans for 2023 and beyond that rely on the successful delivery of a number of agreed technical projects, my client has decided that it is the right time to bring development in-house as part of a growing team, with the PHP Developer joining as part of a brand new team, and collaborating with the editorial and design teams to take new features from idea, to prototype, to production.

What’s Required?

Some previous, commercial experience of building and maintaining modern applications and websites in PHP
Experience of associated technologies including WordPress and the LAMP stack would be beneficial
Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript front-end web application frameworks (like AngularJs, Node.js, GruntJS, etc.) would be looked upon favourably, but full coaching and mentoring will be provided
