Junior Support and Development Engineer
Location: Chesham, HP5 3EE
Salary: £20-25K
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are a 30+ year old small company based in the UK and we have developed a Retail Business Management Solution using ANSI C, 4GL (written in C) and D-ISAM on the Linux platform.
We are now recruiting for a Junior Support and Development Engineer to join us on a full-time basis to offer us support as we continue to develop and troubleshoot our Multi-Sys Retail Management Solution.
Our Junior Support and Development Engineer will be involved in the full development cycle of our next generation enterprise application suite, from planning and designing to testing and implementation, working with modern technologies in a DevOps environment.
Skills & Qualifications required:
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Entry level understanding of networking principles
* Familiar with virtualization using VMware
* Software development, preferably C# with .Net Core 3.1 and above
* Familiar with a relational database system with SQL
* Familiar with microservices architecture
* Knowledge of containerization would be an advantage (Docker, Kubernetes)
