We are looking for a Space Planner to join our global leading client in Milton Keynes.

Must haves:

* FMCG experience, good understanding of convenience stores and ideally a background in space planning

Role Outline:

* Work with a team of micro and macro space planning managers to deliver all space and range changes as necessary for bp’s company owned sites this includes elements of M&S, Branded and Wild Bean offers.

* Responsible for the analysis, review and creation of visually appealing planograms that support the category strategy, to deliver the right range, and display for each of the stores in line with agreed activity calendar.

* Work closely with the category manager and supply chain representatives to ensure that any changes are fully supported with a defined plan to manage unnecessary markdown.

* Understand and shape any equipment needs to enhance the planogram and displays in store to lead to increased sales opportunities.

* Support any additional planogram / layout changes identified, to support refit / refresh changes being made to store and development of Food Service and EV charging strategies.

* Review site requests to change space / equipment and identify solutions communicating updates to store in line with agreed service level agreements.

* Working from sites, office (Milton Keynes) and home

Key Criteria:

* Space Planning Software experience would be advisable preferably JDA

* Good Excel knowledge use of spreadsheets for data and creation of formula’s / calculation

* Experience working in a FMCG business ideally in the convenience market

* Ability to learn and adapt to new processes quickly

This is a 12 month contract role offering a competitive day rate.
