Working as part of an established department you provide administrative support to the Human Resources team by undertaking Human Resources administration duties to ensure that processes and systems are completed to a high standard.
This role is Monday to Friday 27.5 hours per week. Salary £16,438 per annum plus 25 days holiday per annum (pro rata) rising to 27 after 5 years’ service, Contributory Pension Scheme, Private Health Care, Life Assurance, Modern office facilities, Subsidised canteen, Free parking onsite.
Duties:
* Undertake administrative duties in an efficient, timely manner and to a high standard. This may include, but not limited to drafting routine correspondence and dealing with queries about HR processes
* Maintaining Human Resources database in a timely and accurate manner. Produce reports as and when required from the database
* Inform appropriate staff of all new starters and leavers
* Monitor DBS and NMC renewal dates
* Carry out all DBS applications where required
* Ensure personnel files are accurate and up to date and that all requirements and procedures relating to Eligibility to Work in UK, DBS and other required information is obtained
* Support HR Advisors in the recruitment administration process
* Support to HR Advisors in making arrangements for induction of new starters, arranging induction meetings, sending induction welcome emails and links of forms and folders
* Collate monthly absence data. Maintain absence reporting system and produce timely reports
* Other duties as directed by the HR Manager which are reasonable and appropriate to the position
* Handling requests for temporary workers across the business and dealing with the booking of temps and handling the recruitment process of temp to perm contracts (including interviewing and referencing)
Experience Required:
* Experience of working and supporting an established HR department
* Passionate about providing excellent service to internal and external customers
* Able to demonstrate skills in prioritising, planning and organising workload in order to meet deadlines
* Able to demonstrate strong administration skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Highly IT literate, including Microsoft Office and database skills
* Natural team player
* Passionate about continuous improvement
