We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a dynamic, fun and growing award-wining company.
The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of three years’ experience within accounts, as well as experience in managing cashflow and preparing management accounts.
This role can be on a Full Time basis or Part Time with continual training and development provided.
ROLE:
Processing and administration of bank receipts, purchase invoices and supplier payments, including International FX payments
Monthly reconciliation of GBP and FX bank accounts
Preparing and authorisation of monthly payroll
Monthly HMRC PAYE, NI payments and quarterly VAT returns
Preparation and maintaining of yearly and monthly budgets, cash flow and forecasts
Assisting with year-end reporting and accounts and dealing with Auditors queries
Managing Debtors and Creditors
The position also includes some HR functions: including Payroll, Employment Contracts and maintaining the Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme
Input of invoices, sending out statements, chasing overdue debts.
Allocating payments to both Sales and Purchase Ledger.
Bank Reconciliations.
Nominal Ledger: Payroll Journal (Weekly), Prepayments and Accruals,Vat Journal
Payroll: Weekly payroll to run and Year End.
Making Tax Digital: Running Quarterly file and transmitting to HMRC.
ATTRIBUTES:
Good understanding of month-end accounting procedures and preparing Monthly Management Accounts
Proven experience in planning, implementing and reporting on budgets
Experienced in Sage line 50 and MS Office.
An understanding of TOMs Accounting
Excellent attention to detail, with excellent organisational and presentation skills.
Hands on approach and a willingness to learn new skills.
Full Time: Monday – Friday (9:00am – 5:30pm) or Part Time: 4 Days per week
£27,000 for Ful Time / Pro rata for Part Time
