Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered Psychologist to join a CQC rated “good” forensic service in North Buckinghamshire.

Role summary

The candidate appointed will be joining a well-established MDT providing assessments and interventions to male service users based on low and medium secure wards. This will include both 121 and group work which will include CBT, CBT, schema and/or compassion focused therapy.

The post holder will have a heavy involvement in supporting and supervising trainee forensic Psychologists.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time and part time will be considered.

Salary – £45,000 – 51,000 FTE

Experience required:

Those applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist along with previous experience working in forensic services.
