Commercial Manager – Infrastructure specialist – Bedfordshire

This Residential Developer has an exceptional track record in Major New Build Residential projects across the UK. They have a wealth of experience and provide expertise across the residential New Build sector.
   
Due to continued success delivering complex major residential projects the business is growing and is actively looking to recruit a highly talented and experienced Infrastructure Commercial Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a highly experienced, quality focused Top ten Residential Developer client. For the right person there are clear opportunities for rapid progression. The right candidate will be commercially in charge of a large infrastructure phase of a major residential development.

Commercial Manager – Infrastructure Key Responsibilities:

Contract Reporting
Managing, running and reporting at weekly meetings
Contract Valuations and Contractor management
Financial and commercial awareness
Ability to effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines   
Construction Commercial Manager Key Skills and Experience:

10 years direct infrastructure major projects experience with a residential developer or main contractor delivering infrastructure projects
Proven Commercial experience of delivering Bulk Earthworks, on & offsite utilities, highways, structures to include bridge installation
Experience of collaborative working contracts such as NEC4
Dealing with contracts and mitigating the impact of any issues
Exceptional people management skills
The ability to work at pace whilst ensuring the highest standards are met
Developing team members and delegating to ensure optimum efficiency.   
Construction Commercial Manager Required Professional Qualifications:

CSCS
GCSE’s – Maths & English Grade C or above
Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management   
Salary / Benefits

Salary:   £90k – £110k + Car allowance + Bonus + Package
Car Allowance / Company Car: £10k
Bonus:   Up to 20%
