Quality Personnel are recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager and this role will be working for a reputable technology company based in Milton Keynes.
Working hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am until 4.30pm.
Providing the Project Managers in the management of project costs, the planning, resourcing and monitoring of temporary workers.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Assisting in the management of all assigned projects to time, cost and quality including planning, completion of project documentation, distribution of work packages and monitoring of progress to ensure key deliverables and milestones are achieved.
* Undertaking project management responsibilities for smaller project deliveries.
* Having a working knowledge of the SLAs defined in the contract or scoping document and raise any exceptions as appropriate.
* Supporting the management of major incidents of assigned projects.
* Liaising with client operational teams.
* Supporting the delivery of operational excellence and continuous improvement through the identification, planning and implementation of change activity.
* Adhering to project governance and controls.
* Risk Management – participate in the identification, assessment, mitigation and management of threats and opportunities for assigned projects.
You must be able to demonstrate the following:
* Ideally you will hold a PRINCE2 qualification or a degree involving project management
* Excellent communicator both written and verbally
* Supervisory experience
* Keen to learn new skills and able to offer technical advice
