Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader based in Milton Keynes for a top manufacturing.

Summary of the Manufacturing Team Leader role…

Salary: £30,000 per annum + 35% shift allowance equating to £41,500 
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 6pm – 6am on a rotational shift basis. 

The role…

As the Manufacturing Team Leader your role will involve the following important duties:

Provide training to the production cell.
Manage and prioritise staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and production targets are met. 
Agree and implement measures and targets, monitor and control performance, report on progress and initiate corrective action as required. 
Ensure stable operation of the work cell. 
Set, monitor and review staff with shift performance. 
Initiate and implement best practice processes, techniques and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
Ensure all production equipment is maintained and serviced appropriately. 
Ensure compliance in the SOP for machinery in the cell. 
The experience required…

As a successful Manufacturing Team Leader you will have the following:

At least 3 years warehouse experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
At least 3 years experience working with a Warehouse/Production/Distribution Management System. 
At least 3 years of experience working within a supervisory role.
Educated to GCSE level or above. 
Experience in an FMCG environment.
Leadership with the modern manufacturing environment.
Lean manufacturing, problem-solving and continuous process improvement experience. 
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 
Strong leadership skills. 
Strong analytical skills. 
Physically fit and able to lift weights in excess of 50lbs.
