We are looking for a qualified social worker to complete an exciting 3-month opportunity in the Children with Disability Team, based at the Civic office.

You will carry out C&F assessments and ongoing reviews working in a multi-agency forum, and in partnership with parents and carers to support them in looking after their disabled child.
Alongside the statutory work of a social worker such as child protection, court work and LAC you will be working closely with families, schools, psychologists and health colleagues towards an agreed CIN/behavioural management plan for children with complex needs that challenge their carers and professionals.
Elements of this work can include working in the home to address the child's challenging behaviour, setting up direct payments with families, sourcing ongoing agency support and enabling parents to seek support and signpost as necessary. What we can offer you for this role…
