A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HGV / Van Technician at an automotive franchise based in Milton Keynes.

We currently have a position for a HGV / Van Technician to join our team.

The Technician will be responsible for:

Ensuring the most efficient and highest possible standard of mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of customer vehicles and related ancillary equipment
The safety of the working environment and all colleagues/persons within it
Working as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieves its objectives and targets
Undertaking comprehensive and preventative maintenance and repair standards
Correct fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms
Dealing professionally and proficiently with all enquiries and completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner
Undertake diagnostic analysis where appropriate

The Person:

Experience within a commercial dealer environment working on HGVs, vans & cars.
City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 is essential
Have practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives

Working hours are shifts 6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm and 10:00pm – 6.00am

Salary for this role is £35,360 plus an additional £2p/h for evening shifts.
