Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit a Programme Planner to join them in their Student Systems Academic Team. This role is to start asap until 31st July 2022, working 37hrs a week and paying £17.83ph, equates to £34,304pa.
This role will be working from home & then weekly visits to the office in Milton Keynes, following Government guidelines. Equipment will be supplied.
The role of a Planner within the Student Systems Portfolio delivers a variety of planning and change management services that supports the delivery of the Portfolio.
As a Planner you will be expected to:
Support the programme from start to close, using planning activities, tools, MS Project, templates and techniques, to enable and track the achievement of key deliverables against agreed time, cost, scope and quality thresholds.
Ensure project plans and project documentation are fit-for-purpose progressed, monitored, tracked, and up to date.
Work closely with the Portfolio Manager or Lead Planner, programme sponsors and programme & project managers to ensure the integrity of data, and to provide regular accurate reporting updates to help facilitate the delivery of the projects and programmes within the Portfolio.
Work with key stakeholders to clarify the business benefits mapping and products that are to be delivered together in line with the quality, time and cost criteria set by the project.
Skills and Experience
Strong aptitude for analysis and data interpretation.
Strong IT skills and the ability to use a range of software packages particularly Microsoft Excel (including conditional formatting, pivot tables, if statements, indexes, arrays, tables, data validation and templates).
