We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Service Technician, internally known as Service Technician to join our Operations team. You’ll join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive basic salary of circa £22k with the opportunity to earn up to £30k with regular overtime. The majority of your work will be Monday to Friday although you’ll need to be flexible to work one in two/three Saturdays with a minimum of 6 hours paid overtime.
CPI pioneered factory produced dry mortar within the UK construction materials industry in the late 1990’s with the construction of the UK’s first dry mortar plant. It is now the only national dry mortar producer operating across a network of nine EuroMix manufacturing plants. EuroMix dry mortars, renders, plasters and concretes are used by the major construction companies in the UK on housing, industrial, educational and infrastructure projects. CPI also operates a state-of-the-art bagging operation at Carlton Manufacturing which supplies the merchant and contractors’ market with a range of bagged ready to use concrete, mortar and fence post mixes.

About the role:
Our Site Service Technician’s are responsible for maintaining specialist mixing equipment used on major housebuilding and construction sites. You’ll also be responsible for training customers operatives in the safe use of the mortar mixing equipment. This is a key customer service role as you’ll be interacting with colleagues and customers on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities of our Site Service Technician:
Working from a fully equipped mobile workshop, you’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing specialist mortar mixing equipment. We’ll provide full training, providing you with an extensive skill set spanning both mechanical and electrical disciplines. You’ll be responsible for training our customer’s operatives in the use of equipment on their sites, using our structured training system. Customer care will be your principle priority in ensuring that we deliver a market leading service that we’re known for.
Location:
This role is based at our Beaconsfield plant and covers customer sites in the surrouding areas so you’ll be on the road each day between sites. There will also be occasional requirements to support our other sites in the UK.
