Position: Director of Finance & Resources
Location: Home Counties (Home working by default)

Salary: £80,000 FTC
Duration: 6 months (possible extension to 12 months)

An experienced Finance Director with experience within the Social Housing sector is required to join the Senior Management Team of this small Housing organisation that punches above its weight. You would make a significant and effective contribution to the organisation ensuring that it is well positioned to achieve its vision, current and future business plans and goals.

You would have very light touch responsibility for HR and IT (which is provided by an external supplier), so your key remit would be ensuring financial and corporate services strategies, plans, processes and controls are in place.

Who would excel in this role?

* An experienced, confident Senior Finance professional, ideally with a relevant CCAB qualification and have current membership of a relevant professional body.

* Possess a good track record in leading and managing a finance team at a senior level in a customer-facing organisation.

* You will have up to date knowledge of accounting systems, treasury management, funding and relevant legislation and the ability to keep abreast of new financial matters as they will affect the organisation.
