A leading sustainability and strategic management agency are looking for a Sustainability Project Manager to join its successful growing team in the sport and motorsport industry.  Founded in 2018, the consultancy works with motorsport federations, ASNs, teams, championships and high-tech engineering companies to provide a sustainable, strategic long-term approach to building value for companies, people and planet. 

Creativity, innovation, research and data-driven solutions are the driving forces behind the company’s approach to working with their high-profile clients, with the aim to empower organisations with the knowledge they need to integrate sustainability into their business strategy, delivering on their short-medium, and long-term Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals. 

As the Sustainability Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

Supporting a small number of clients, both on-site in Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire
Contributing to the development of the management team, adding value to customers’ services by delivering operational ESG targets and objectives
Supporting implementation of strategies that have been agreed with existing clients over the short, medium, and longer term
Ensuring projects are executed to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to high quality standards
Providing expert advice to all clients’ departments on key initiatives, channelling the latest ESG thought leadership and regulatory developments into the business
Evaluating relevant technology proposals and having the ability to take concepts and ideas and convert them into practical steps and plans
Generating and delivering communication briefings for clients and a mix of formal training and informal coaching to upskill external stakeholders
We are keen to speak to Sustainability Project Managers with the following skills and experience: 

A strong interest in sport and motorsport
Demonstrable experience in delivering operational strategic changes and / or developing strategic sustainability solutions working for a management consultancy or similar
A track record of shaping strategic ESG plans and investment cases
Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO20121 and relevant environmental certification
Knowledge of GHG calculation, UK and EU innovation fund, CDP, and SERC reporting
Understanding of life cycle assessment, carbon reduction and sustainability resource planning
Proven experience in implementing change strategies in engineering companies, specifically assisting with the move to Net Zero
